Coventry Gundog Show held a super premier open show with an excellent entry.
BIS was the dark blue Cocker, BROACHDALE Athena Blue. “Lovely bitch, sturdy, well balanced, true head, square muzzle, skull cleanly chiselled. Well set on ears, eyes giving that correct expression, well boned, feminine. Good development of chest & correct depth, ribs well sprung, muscular quarters, good stifles. OPEN (5,2) Hewson’s BROACHDALE Athena Blue. “Really pleased to have handled this quality steel blue of the highest quality. Couldn’t find anything to beat her, really lovely to go over on the table, everything fitting together as it should. Super head, neck & fine shoulders, straight well-boned legs & well padded tight feet. Body and condition just right, excellent angulation, wide quarters, short below the hock. Really presents a balanced picture, lovely coat presentation, moved with verve and style. Hope she gains her title.” MIKE WILDMAN
